Golden Oldies

Ozzie Nelson and his Orchestra "Head over Heels in Love" 1938-42

HCD-259

Now it can be told! Ozzie had a terrific big band in the late 30's and early 40's. This was a "sweet" band that could also swing. 10 of the 16 tracks have never been released before with the balance on CD for the very first time. All have been meticulously restored in great sound. Ozzie sings: Head over heels in love, Wave the stick blues, Between a kiss and a sigh, I must see Annie tonight, Gee, but it's great to meet a friend (from you home town), You and I know, Yes Suh and I've got my love to keep me warm. Harriet warbles I don't want to set the world on fire, Everyone but me, Let's have another cigarette, Roses in December, Old Curiosity Shop and Have a heart. Ricky and David's parents duet on Breathless and Two Sleepy People.
